Our Journey So Far

The concept of Emmaus Road was born out of a desire for something new and fresh. In the spring of 2007 leaders of the Church of the Nazarene began praying for God’s direction for their struggling church. As they prayed it became clear that God was calling them to do something brand new; a new beginning. These leaders set out to seek God’s direction for the future. God began to provide clarity of what that future would be. A mission statement was formed, a ministry plan, and eventually a new name that clearly marked what God was calling this new church to become.

Since Emmaus Road's first service in January of 2008, God has done amazing things. We've seen lives changes, marriages saved, addictions broken, and much more. God is using the ministry of this church to change lives. And our journey is just beginning. We can't wait to see all that God wants to do through this church.
